Ellie Boik

Ellie is majoring in biology (pre-medicine), after graduation she hopes to attend medical school and become a doctor. Ellie has always been passionate about exercise and its effects on overall well-being. As a yoga instructor, she has seen firsthand how physical activity can improve mental health. Her interest in medicine also makes her curious about how exercise can be used as a tool to address mental health challenges. The lab integrates two of her interests. and she is excited to continue to contribute to the lab and learn more. Her favorite way to stay active is yoga, as it is a great way to work on breath and movement together, helping her to be more present and aware!
